Ricky Gervais, from the great BBC comedy "The Office", is talking a little bit about the new series that he and his writing partner are now writing. According to this article, it's going to be called "Extras" and be about the background people in movies, with him being one of them. A boy after my own heart. Anyway, it won't be ready for at least a year and he wants to just quietly debut on BBC2 and let it grow. I just hope BBC America airs it at the same time and doesn't make us here in North America wait for it like they did with "The Office".
And, just to say, he did a fabulous job when he guested on "Alias" a couple of weeks ago, playing a vengeful bomb maker. That was a really good episode in a season that is getting better every week.
