Took the boy to see Shrek 2. It was really really cute. He liked Puss in Boots (voiced by Antonio Banderas). But, my favorite character was the Fairy Godmother (voiced by Jennifer Saunders - Edina from Absolutely Fabulous). She was just perfect in the role and played her great.
My favorite part of the movie had to be when Shrek and Fiona are staying in her childhood room and Shrek finds her old diary, in which she had written over and over again "Mrs. Prince Charming", "Mrs. Fiona Charming" in girly script and flowery.
Now, hopefully, I can con Mom into taking the child to see "Garfield", which I do not have even the slightest bit of interest in seeing, but the kid is dying to go to it.
