On the heels, okay, well, 2 months after, the news of a possible Family Guy movie, comes the news that Fox may bring back the series.
From the article: "Fox Television Entertainment Group chairman Sandy Grushow said a decision is expected soon and called the series a late-blooming phenomenon that may have aired before its time."
While I am sure that is partially true, I think alot of it had to do with the fact that it was on a channel that didn't have the balls to keep it on - let alone not censor it like they did. If anyone should be airing new episodes, it should be Cartoon Network. They are the ones that have really brought it back, with the nightly airings and even airing the unaired episode "When you wish upon a Weinstein". And they should continue to reap the benefits that they are enjoying now since it the number one show with adults on the channel. So, hopefully that is where they will end up.
