I got an email back from the soccer club guy yesterday that gave me the number of the U6 coordinator (he had also cc'd him on the email). I called him but he hasn't called back yet.
So, I figure I am going to call a couple of the kids parents that were on the team last season and see what they are doing, etc. and if they are on the same team, I will just show up on Saturday and have Nathan just play with that team.
Crap, if they can't even take care of the younger groups, then why would those kids want to stay there and go on to the older competitive teams? Let alone, be able to convince a MLS team to come here and be a franchise.
