So, Nathan has decided to become his own person - new name and all. He now goes by Nate, at least when he has to write it down.
Now, some people would say, "Oh, that's great. Growing up. Becoming himself." blah blah blah. Not me. I say it's because he is a lazy turd. Seriously. I noticed it when he needed to address his Valentine's Day cards for school. After the second of 22 he decided he wanted to write "Nate" instead. He said, "I just like the name." was his explanation. 'Course, when you are first learning to write your letters, dropping two letters from your name on 20 things can save alot of writing - and if your lazy. But, they were his cards, he could sign them whatever.
Another reason why I think it's just cuz he is being too lazy to write it out is that he doesn't want to go by Nate when people address him. He is perfectly fine with anyone calling him Nathan, or whatever comes out of momma and daddy's mouths. So, see? No continuity = no dedication. He cracks me up. I don't know where he gets this shi...stuff.
