With NBC about to run

With NBC about to run another crappy mini-series that tries to chronicle an entire decade (this time it is the 70's) in just a few hours I thought it would be fun to show things that I remember from that decade (thanks to gael).

• Anybody but me remember a TV show called "Zoom"? Well, Dave Thomas does and he has some sound clips from old cassette's he used to tape off of the TV when he was a kid (sometimes you can even hear him narrate).

• Ok, no 70's chronicle would be complete without a look back at my favorite TV show of all time The Brady Bunch. I love this show so much that I have all of the episodes on
VHS
, that I taped off of TBS when they showed'em 4 times a day. My hubby can't wait for me to get rid of these tapes I never watch anymore to clear out a box in the garage, but I just can't seem to make myself do it, no matter how crappy the quality is, it's the content that matters. Who knows, maybe somebody will wanna buy'em.

• Even the networks, during this heavy sweeps period, knows a good show when they see it. On Fox, they decided to jump ahead of NBC and throw on a behind the scenes show about the filming of the final episode and of Robert Reed's problems with the producers. NBC's version is based on the book by Barry Williams,"Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg", which I do have in my personal collection, doncha know. Barry is also producing this one, which might make it keep a little closer to his version of the truth.
