The forgotten ones...
Everyone needs a little recognition in life. Sometimes it comes in the form of awards and accolades and sometimes it just comes in someone's comments with a smile. Both can be fulfilling. But without any recognition, whether intentionally or by oversight, it can make someone invisible, inside and out.
It takes alot of courage to take a stand and demand the recognition that is deserved, and most don't have it, they just wait and hope it comes along. Sometimes that is just the easiest thing to do.
