G'day Australia
Ya know, watching all of the Sydney scenes during the Olympics really makes me want to go back Australia. I went there in August, 1999 with
Beau and he has a really nice
gallery of pics from the trip.
I have come to compare the 15 hour flight over there (and back) to childbirth - it really sucks while you are doing it, but quite a while after it, you start to think "hey, maybe that wasn't so bad after all" and then you start to consider doing it again. Anyway, we were there for such a short time, and tried to cram too much in, but we did see all of the touristy things you are supposed to go see - the Opera House, Ayer's Rock and the Rainforest. There is so much more to see, that next time I go, I will go to experience more of the country and not just the gotta see sites, since that has already been done.
But I am definitely going to start saving all my pennies because I may be silly, but not silly enough to fly coach that far again.
