One of the funniest things I learned Saturday night is that it is a very strange sensation to be the center of attention. Granted, I will not deny that I brought on the attention with my god-given attributes, but it was still weird. I sincerely did not know that some people (read: ALOT of men and a few women) could be driven to such distraction by two things that they could almost see. Anyway, none of that still couldn't make me put on any beads, which I decided, when it is not Mardi Gras week, are for only two groups of people "whores" and "stupid tourists" (remember, they are called Mardi Gras beads for a reason). Which reminds me, don't forget to ask Kelli about her beads - and if she thinks I am making up stories about her, then she needs to remember that I DO have photographic evidence to back up my stories. 8P
Which brings us to what we did after 735 Saturday night. We went to this amazing bar called The Dungeon that was just fun as hell. It didn't open till Midnight and Tammee and I, being the VIP's that we are now, shut the place down....at 6:30 in the am. There is nothing like walking in the French Quarter with drink in hand after the sun has come up - and so, since we had decided that Sunday was going to be the lazy day, it worked out great that we slept all day...hehehe.
When we finally got our lazy asses out of the rooms that night, we went and ate at this locals tavern in the Garden District called St. Charles Tavern that just has great diner food. We have yet to have a bad meal in this town, I mean it.
After that we went to Larry Flynt's Hustler Club for a laugh and then down the street to see some testosterone, but, alas it was not to be as we closed out another fantastic girls trip to NOLA. This town is such a blast and next year when some of the other girl's get to come with us, then we can tear it up even more.
I definitely needed this vacation and I enjoyed every minute of it, but I am glad to be home with my family - even if I am not ready to get back to work yet.
